Born in 1979, he began studying piano at 10 years with several teachers, including: Franco D’Andrea, Stefano Battaglia, Armen Donelian, John Riley, Alexander Cerino, Lawrence D. “Buch” Morris, Christian Leroy, Battista Lena, Pierre Vaiana, Antonio Ballista, Nazareno Carusi and Tiziano Poli.

Andrea starts very soon playing concerts. He collaborated with artists such as Aldo Romano, Irene Grandi, Elio (“e le storie tese”), Lawrence D. “Buch” Morris, Annalisa Minetti, Alessandro Cerino. He performed on stages, in television and on the radio (italian and international broadcasts) including: the Prize “Tenco”, Heineken Jammin Festival 2010, Taratatà (France 2), RSI (National Swiss Radio) RTSI (National Swiss Television), France Inter, “Strade del Cinema” Roman Theatre of Aosta, Prize “Umberto Bindi “, Goethe Institute, the Espace Veux (Brussels), Mantua Music Festival, Bordighera Jazz & blues, Mendrisio Music Festival, Locarno Film Festival, “Poestate” Lugano, Cervino Film Festival, Libra Festival.

Andrea works for RSI (Swiss Italian Radio) in the realisation of radio dramas and in the music recording of the soundtracks of Swiss producted broadcasts, both as a sideman and as composer.

He collaborated with producer Peter Walsh (Steve Wonder, Simple Mind, etc..) in the implementation of the Ep “BugZum” of the italian band Lomé – www.lome.it (Ed. The Eubage). This work was published in 2008. Andrea also coworked with the composer/Artistic Producer Walter Zweifel (John Cage) in the production of the CD “Gadamer” – www.gadamer.biz (RSI – Altrisuoni).

He teaches piano and Physiological Mechanics of Piano Technique at the School of Music Sonoria.
